A company, a story. A long sequence of days and years
interwined with a golden silk thread,
unwinding in the
time along the steps of a feat in search of beauty.
The roots are in historical district of Como, where times
goes by marked by looms'beat, where life itself flows through the parallels and the meridians of weft and warp.
It's the year 1866; the hand-weaver Giovanni Bianchi
puts out his sign-board in via Milano.
The dream of Giovanni Bianchi, even when times come
for other to nourish it, continues to hold good.
From jacquards to prints, from the domestic market to
the first ventures abroad (later to reach a full estabilishment),
the firm grows and changes aspect.
What does not change is the costancy to a tradition that
leaves its marks.
A tradition telying upon choice of natural yarns, faith in a
never aging elegance and quality obtained with diligent and
careful attention to the details.
The goal is still the same one that, back in 1866, fascinated
Giovanni Bianchi: not to enlargen but to improve.
Not a large industrial production but a painstaking research
of new balances between technology and taste; an itinerary
marked by the modesty and at the same time by the pride.
